Partnering with BAFTA’s ALBERT
From an approved supplier, we have now become the official events partner to We Are Albert. Helping to keep the industry sustainable.
As We Are Albert leads the way in sustainable film production with their carbon calculator and sustainable production training, we are thrilled to be partnering with them as their official 2021 event partner.
Michelle Whitehead, from BAFTA’s ALBERT, wrote some kind words about what the partnership means:
“We are delighted to have CAMA onboard as an event partner. Our event partners are those spearheading the industry’s transition to environmental sustainability by supporting productions with the greenest services. CAMA is helping to solve a real problem that exists in the industry by not only providing storage solutions for film and TV companies but also providing an online platform and marketplace for productions to manage, store, sell or donate their assets – a truly circular economy for sets and assets. It is exactly this type of forward thinking, problem solving company that we need more of if we are to transition to a zero carbon, zero waste film and TV industry.”
ALBERT have previously written a case study about the work we did on Mission: Impossible – Fallout. You can read the article, about how we helped to dispose of sets and assets sustainably, here.
Albert was formed in 2011, bringing the screen industries together to create more positive impacts on the environment, and influence audiences to create a more sustainable future. Since then, they have worked with everyone from SKY and BBC to Netflix and Warner Brothers. We are so excited to be partnered with such a trailblazer.
As ALBERT continues to be the authority on environmental sustainability for film and TV, we are proud to be supporting their whole programme of 2021 events, including:
- green get togethers
- sustainable production training
- new Albert toolkit walk-through
- plus, many more seminars and panel discussions
