Rehoming Royal Academy of Music’s stands
Opened in September 2020, Kaleo Music Studios teaches students of all ages, both children and adults, how to play musical instruments. With music having been shown to reduce stress, increase productivity, develop creativity, and build confidence, we were pleased to be able to support this wonderful new addition to the community of Stanford-le-Hope.
The Royal Academy of Music recently left us with a number of music stands, in excellent condition, that they no longer had a use for but wanted to find a new home for – they were too good to be recycled just yet. When we heard about Kaleo, run by Maddie and Ayshe, who have been teaching in the local community for the last 4 years, and will be running music workshops throughout the summer, we knew we’d found an excellent new home for the stands.
Kaleo Music Studios: “We are so pleased that CAMA have offered these stands to us, which will be used for the small teaching sessions that we arrange for our pupils. In the past we have had to hold up the music papers for each other so that we can read and play! So, a good addition to our studio, thank you so much.”
