Well aren’t these crates just great!
As part of our sustainability work, it is always amazing to see how the items CAMA Assetstore donates are put to reuse.
The crates came into storage as part of a production storage order and were subsequently marked to be recycled. However, our expert sustainability team noticed several items that did not pose any intellectual property issues and could, as a result, be reused, these crates included. We are always focused on the life cycle of items and how and where they can be repurposed.
To many, it is just twelve large yellow fish crates. To CCORRN, an absolute lifesaver. They had been struggling to find ways to store items for their Bits and Bobs Scrapstore in a disability friendly way.
“These crates have been superb as we now have a rigid protected route for people with mobility issues to safely navigate their way around the scrapstore”. (Nikki DiGiovanni Development Director for CCORRN (Cambridgeshire Community Reuse and Recycling Network Limited)
We have been fortunate enough to have donated many items to CCORRN over the past few months. This has included many items we managed to save from being recycled. We look forward to seeing the partnership between us grow!
CCORRN is an incredible charity, helping those in need in a vast variety of ways. Nikki and the team are dedicated to supporting community reuse and recycling. They are continuing to make moves towards sustainability and improving the lives of those in need.
CAMA Assetstore is always on the look out for more organisations to work with to further our client’s move towards a circular economy. Reusing, repurposing, and rehoming items is vital within CAMA. Knowing the items are going to charitable organisations such as CCORRN is incredible. Putting our local community at the heart of what our sustainability team do.
