Ready for takeoff – launching our new storage space at London Southend Airport
We are delighted to announce the opening of CAMA AssetStore’s latest storage offering and new Headquarters – our brand new, state-of-the-art asset management facility at London Southend Airport. This marks a huge expansion on our existing storage facilities, adding to our footholds in East London, Ipswich, Bristol, and Reading.
A space to suit your needs
Offering over 27,000 sq. ft. of space, this new site has been purpose-built for our film, television, and construction clients. Much like our existing facilities, our new Headquarters offers flexible storage space for all of your assets, no matter the size.
Our London Southend Airport site has been set up to provide all elements of AssetStore; from our unique, all-inclusive managed service (AssetStore Managed), all the way to our low-cost self-store option (AssetStore Classic). No matter where you store with us, we can also tailor bespoke packages for your props, sets, costumes, materials, and vehicles (we’ve even had airplanes!).
The CAMA team are now all settled in and are enjoying the benefits that the space has to offer; from the 200-acre wildlife country park across the road, the convenient direct links to major motorway networks, our wildflower gardens and outdoor meeting areas, and all-new office space (entirely furnished with second-hand office equipment, right down to the carpet tiles).
Committed to clean energy
CAMA is incredibly proud to have achieved a BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Methodology) rating of Very Good and an outstanding EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) rating of A.
In addition to our 14 EV charging points, we have invested an additional £100,000 to double the number of solar panels on our roof and increase battery storage capacity. This has allowed us to maximise the use of the power generated, enabling us to meet energy requirements for heating, cooling, lighting, and charging forklifts.
Expanding our regional offering – Bristol, Reading, Manchester
Historically known for our facilities in East London and Ipswich, London Southend Airport joins our ranks along with Bristol, Reading, and an upcoming space in Manchester. If you have a production or project in any of these areas, we are pleased to now offer local storage that best suits your needs!
Enhancing reuse and circularity
London Southend Airport is a sustainability-focused storage facility, designed to enhance our reuse work through our circular economy service, AssetCycle. Alongside being an excellent offering to our storage clients, our new Headquarters will also serve as a valuable asset to our community, benefitting local charities and arts organisations.
