Chairs to connect – reuse at ‘Holy Jo’s’ in North London
Our team love finding new homes for items that are no longer needed by our film & TV and corporate clients. We continue to form such valuable partnerships and collaborations in the community.
Last week we delivered 40 chairs to St Joseph’s RC in North London (aka Holy Jo’s). The beautiful church, which is urgent need of refurbishment, is an essential support to the local community, and has been a crucial service during COVID. It manages a weekly food bank and organises much needed support for local families, refugees and the Whittington Hospital.
Thank you to Steve, Dave and John at CAMA pictured below. They sort and pack items ready to go to community projects, and they ensured these chairs were in excellent condition for Holy Jo’s.
Father George picture above with Sister Aideen told Darren from CAMA:
“It’s been so uplifting. Receiving these chairs for our community work was so generous. When families come to visit when they have lost their loved ones, or community groups come for their support sessions, we can finally now offer them a nice place to sit. It makes a big difference. Thank you CAMA!”
By specialising in storing props and sets for TV and film as well as blue chip corporates, we get a combination of stunning, unique props & costumes, as well as everyday household items. What really sets us apart is that clients can use our unique software online to indicate items for sale, rental, reuse, recycling or donation.
Our priority is to help companies and productions match the items they no longer need to the most appropriate enterprise or production. Our work plays a big role in making the entertainment business and corporate world more sustainable.
