Since the beginning of the pandemic, the CAMA team has been supporting the Single Homeless Project’s essential work to place hundreds of people who were sleeping rough on the streets of London, into safe, emergency accommodation.
Michelle French, Director, CAMA explains “we were approached by our client Wilmott Dixon to help Single Homeless Project with logistics and storage of PPE. As a company we are very involved in the community and perfectly placed to offer support in London and the boroughs – so we were very keen to help.”
The team has extended their support, with weekly deliveries, which now includes household items and other donated goods.
This is made possibly through CAMA’s enhanced sustainability service.
We enable our corporate clients and film & TV productions who are storing with us to donate unwanted items to good causes – simply by clicking a button – through our unique online asset management software.
Thank you to Daren Saunders, Director, CAMA Workspace, pictured below left, who has managed this support service, alongside his colleague Shaun Hall and the entire CAMA crew.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, SHP have been at the forefront of a collective effort to place hundreds of people who were sleeping rough on the streets of London, into safe, emergency accommodation.
Now more than ever, they need to continue this support in London as we enter the new COVID restrictions.
