Our regional storage hubs for physical production assets are here
We are excited to announce that we are expanding our operations by establishing regional storage partnerships in Bristol, Manchester, Liverpool and Cardiff.
Through partnerships with local storage providers CAMA AssetStore’s hubs will provide secure, affordable nearby storage for costumes, props, and set materials.
“Our goal is to empower productions by providing tailored, local storage solutions that eliminate inefficiencies and logistical headaches. With hubs strategically positioned in Cardiff, Manchester, Liverpool, Bristol and Essex, we’ve cut down transportation time, costs and reduced our industry’s carbon footprint.” Michaele Apostolides, CAMA AssetStore

Enhancing our production support regionally
“The expansion of CAMA’s services to the English Regions, outside of the South East, is a fantastic development in supporting more productions to significantly reduce their carbon footprint. At Creative England we recognise the importance of ensuring the film and TV industry, no matter where they choose to film in England, can access those companies who can help them make greener choices. We’re delighted that our Filming in England Partnership member CAMA AssetStore will be able to provide sustainable storage solutions to more regionally based productions” Hannah MacLeod , Film & TV Partnerships Manager, Filming in England, Creative UK
In 2024 the UK’s regions were brimming with activity and supported major cinematic releases and emerging television projects. In Wales, Young Sherlock was based at Great Point Studios, Cardiff with many other productions being made in the nation.
Meanwhile, the North West has set the scene for a number productions that have based themselves in Manchester and Liverpool including romantic comedy CC:Emily, The Talamasca, House of Guinness, Toxic Town and Left Bank Pictures/BBC’s The City is Ours.
Bristol and the South West hosted Netflix’s Agatha Christie’s The Seven Dials Mystery as well as top Disney show Rivals. And Liverpool featured House of Guinness, Toxic Town and Left Bank Pictures/BBC’s The City is Ours.
Along with this growth comes the challenge of efficiently managing and storing production assets like costumes, props, and set materials. Our newly established regional storage partnerships in these key locations are integral to this narrative, meeting the needs of the production community and fostering growth in the UK’s film and regional production centres.

“Until now, one of the biggest challenges for productions and studios wanting to store with CAMA has been location. Expanding their operation to include so many key filming locations across the UK will offer great opportunity for far more efficient and sustainable storage solutions. For a production company or consultancy like Picture Zero, the potential to repurpose or reuse assets from one production to another via one asset system, is a dream! Looking forward to continuing our strong partnership with CAMA to create a greener industry”
Mandy Cayford, Picture Zero
Key benefits of regional storage hubs
Maximise production efficiency with proximity.
Storing assets near regional studios in Cardiff, Manchester, Liverpool, Bristol, and East London/Essex headquarters cuts transportation time and costs, boosting production efficiency. CAMA offers local storage solutions that solve transport and retrieval issues, easing space constraints in regional studios that double as storage facilities.
Asset management from start to finish.
Through its platform, AssetFlow, CAMA delivers a centralised online asset management service across multiple sites. This single system allows productions to track and organise inventory across a variety of regional storage locations. Production companies can therefore benefit from a unified view of stored props and sets that might be based in Southend, Cardiff, Manchester, Liverpool or Bristol.
“At Sustainable Film, helping large studio productions manage their physical assets with sustainability in mind is at the core of what we do. To have a centralised asset management platform allowing productions to gain full visibility and control over their props and materials, even when they’re spread across multiple locations is a game changer for the UK industry” Amelia Price, Director, Sustainable Film
Reduced Carbon Emissions and Costs.
Regional storage will help to significantly minimise a production’s carbon footprint by lowering transportation emissions as well as costs, aligning with the industry’s focus on sustainable practices.
A Sustainable Circular Economy in the Regions.
The creative industries currently face significant barriers to reuse, particularly when it comes to storage of sets and props. Our dedicated storage hubs and AssetFlow platform empower productions to store and share resources effectively, supporting the development of a sustainable circular economy in the regions.
“Through our unique AssetFlow platform, productions gain full control and visibility of their inventory, fostering efficient management across multiple locations. Our software is powering visibility and connectivity, ensuring that productions can digitally access their assets no matter what regional hub they are stored in. This is great news for the regional partnership approach and is actively encouraging resource sharing and circularity” Ella Nevill, AssetFlow
