Nominate your Art Dept sustainability champion today!

The British Film Designers Guild have created their new Planet Positive Award (in association with albert) to celebrate Art Departments or individual Art Department members whose work really lives and breathes environmental sustainability.

The judges want to see environmentally sensitive designs, sustainable construction methods, sustainably sourced materials and props and thoughtful end of life planning. They’re also excited to see designs and props that really showcase creative sustainability on the screen. Plus they’ll be taking into account the challenges that teams or individuals have had to overcome and how they’ve communicated their vision with others.

The judging panel features sustainability professionals from film and TV, representatives from albert and sustainability agency Creative Zero and members of the BFDG Committee. Entries have to be submitted by a BFDG member – but not everyone involved in the submission needs to have membership.

Think your own work need needs a light shining on it?

More details are available, along with the entry and criteria document, by emailing: awards@britishfilmdesigners.com

Further information about this Award from the BFDG is below:
