Redistribution of props to schools
CAMA’s unique online asset management allows our Green Team to help productions and clients with the redistribution of assets they no longer need in storage.
Our online system enables productions to donate items, they no longer want or need, to the local community, film schools and other productions – at the click of a button.
As part of this sustainability service – this week we welcomed Lisa Dee, Head of Film and the Culture and Wellbeing team from London Borough of Barking & Dagenham (LBBD) to CAMA. Lisa is also one of the leading figures behind the new Ashbrook Studios development in Dagenham
Michelle French, Director of CAMA, who works closely with many of the studios says: “This partnership should lead to exciting and unusual items from film & TV productions being donated to the community. Working closely with Lisa and her team at LBBD we can support productions so that we manage this redistribution seamlessly & effortlessly.”

CAMA’s portal enabled the school’s team at LBBD to browse online during lockdown and then order the merchandise they would like to collect once restrictions were lifted.

Developing partnerships for film production in Dagenham community
Lisa Dee thanked CAMA for donating merchandise and props to Barking and Dagenham’s local schools. She explained that this was a great example of how productions with the right infrastructure in place, should be working to benefit the local community.

Yosien, who is leading our enhanced sustainability services explains “One of the aim’s of CAMA’s enhanced green service is to drastically reduce waste and support the local community. It is fantastic that we have been able to connect with the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham through the COVID crisis”.
