Here comes the numbers:
At the beginning of 2023, we had 72 productions in store with us. That amounted to 15,437.5 m3 and 67,403 actual number of items.*
By sending these assets back to our warehouse instead of disposing these assets via landfill, where we estimate they would be reused 3 times, we can help the industry avoid:
- 4,192 tonnes of CO2e from avoiding these assets to go to landfill
- 39,024,019 tonnes of CO2e from avoiding buying new assets and using these assets from store instead.
Therefore, the total avoided emissions arising from reusing the total number of asset simply 3 times is:
43,216 tCO2e – This is equivalent to: 9,312 petrol vehicles driven for one year
