Managing Director, CAMA Group
This is about a close knit family company that has been fortunate enough to organically pull together a team that have a genuine interest in the things they do day to day.
I really enjoy the challenge of blending industry and technology to provide sustainability solutions that work in the real world.
Director, CAMA Group
As a family business CAMA really is a close knit team. I support many different areas of the business with a focus on customer support, business development and networking.
One of the things I enjoy most is getting to see behind the scenes of the variety of industries that we work with from Blue Chip Corporates through to Film and TV productions.
I particularly enjoy working closely with community projects both locally in Barking & Dagenham and on a national level. I am also an ambassador and volunteer speaker for Prostate Cancer UK.
Software Developer & Consultant, CAMA Group
I started with a background in corporate I.T - but quickly realised that many systems and processes made a 'users' life harder. I have a strong belief that I.T should make a 'persons' life easier through simple yet highly effective user experiences.
'Putting the customer first' carries little weight with most companies - but with CAMA it is central to the entire business. I was asked to design the CAMA Storage Portal with this in mind - develop a system that empowered both the CAMA staff and customers.
It is an approach that has resonated well and I'm excited to further develop the customer portal to provide the next level of sustainable storage solutions for our customers and staff.
Sustainability and Development Manager, CAMA Group
I joined CAMA after I met Mac and Michelle at a Production Guild networking event for film & TV professionals. It was clear that CAMA's sustainable storage solutions were solving a real pain point for productions. Using their services helped productions to reduce waste and be more efficient with asset management.
CAMA has been helping customers for years to efficiently reuse and share items, and now this includes props, sets and costumes. I head up this sustainability service working closely with the CAMA warehouse team.
My family are from East London & Essex, so I love working with the vibrant community here. I particularly enjoy supporting charities in Barking & Dagenham with reusing and sharing items.
Operations Director, CAMA Workspace
I have 30 years experience in the world of premium office, commercial and specialist relocations including Fine Art and Complex change programmes.
It is fantastic to be part of the growing CAMA family here in Dagenham and Rainham and develop our services and the relationships with our customers.
CAMA Workspace is an exciting new venture for the CAMA Group that give us all opportunity to concentrate our efforts on maintaining a continued high level of service and performance.
Product Manager, CAMA Storage
I worked in the city for a merchant bank for 22 years - starting as a maintenance Carpenter and moving my way up to Project Manager running large scale moves. This was when I was first introduced to CAMA.
After leaving the city I was given the opportunity to work for CAMA in Dagenham as a Project Manager. We have grown significantly since then and so has my role, particularly with the introduction a few years ago of our unique online portal. This has been a game changer and I love supporting clients and film & TV productions - ensuring they get the best out of the system.
Warehouse and Recycling Manager
I started at CAMA 15 years ago as a fork lift and warehouse operator. I’ve grown within the CAMA family and I now manage the warehouse, working directly with clients and film productions.
I help productions and customers with locating items and getting them delivered on time. I also ensure the recycling of items directly from store by finding suitable organisations who would benefit from donations that our storage clients wish to dispose of. Having a warehouse background helps me understand how items can be re-purposed and avoid landfill.
I look after our clients items in store as if it were my own, as do all the warehouse team, this is what sets us apart.
Warehouse Operation Manager
I started CAMA 20 years ago as a part time porter and I have worked in various roles including removals, fitting, warehouse and specialist moves. Bringing all this experience together I now work as Warehouse Operations Manager.
Watching CAMA grow over this time has been inspiring and the fact that the family values remain grounded and embedded throughout the company sets us apart.
We don't do "the norm" we always look outside the box on how to make things easier, with the customer in the centre of our every decision. This keeps us one step ahead of similar storage and move businesses.
Office Manager
My role is Office Manager and I’m probably the first person you will speak to when you call the office. I’m happy to help with any enquiry you may have, whether it be about our website or invoicing. I’m responsible for all storage invoicing as well as invoicing for CAMA Workspace.
To sum it up, I do most of the run-of-the-mill duties around the office but if I can’t help I know a man who can.
At the end of the day, we are one team whose main goal is customer satisfaction.
